Founder & Managing Director of Refresh Group
Dr Elson Lee, the founder of Refresh Group and Yong Kang TCM Clinic, is a visionary leader dedicated to advancing effective Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treatments and integrating the best of Eastern and Western medical practices for optimal patient outcomes.

In 2003, Dr Lee acquired Yong Kang TCM Clinic from NTUC Healthcare with a clear mission: to provide advanced, results-driven TCM solutions tailored to modern lifestyles. Under his leadership, the clinic has grown into a regional presence, with 7 TCM clinics in Singapore, 3 Refresh TCM Wellness Centres, 4 clinics in Malaysia, and 1 clinic in Indonesia.

Over the years, the Group has served more than 2 million patients.
Recognising the demands of today’s fast-paced world, Dr. Elson Lee pioneered the introduction of modern TCM therapies in Singapore—such as Ji Yang Moxibustion and OxyCup—treatments proven to be up to ten times more effective than traditional methods in alleviating pain and accelerating recovery. He also championed the early adoption of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) to boost immunity and overall wellness.
Expanding beyond clinical care, Dr. Lee introduced Refresh TCM Wellness Centres—luxurious, spa-inspired facilities offering advanced slimming programmes like M Shape with HIFEM energy and cold sculpting, combined with acupuncture and herbal therapy for holistic weight management. These centres also feature TCM herbal hair spa treatments addressing hair loss, scalp health, and premature greying.

Over the past 22 years, Refresh Group has grown tremendously as a brand, constantly striving to evolve—expanding its services, introducing new technologies, and innovating its wellness offerings to better serve today’s customers.

This includes the launch of Refresh Physiocare, dedicated to physiotherapy and advanced machine-based treatments such as the BTL Spinal Decompression machine, BIXEPS, and AI Thermal Therapy. By blending traditional wisdom with modern innovation, the Group continues to redefine integrated healthcare—seamlessly uniting the expertise of AHPC-registered physiotherapists with TCMPB-registered physicians to deliver comprehensive, patient-focused care.
